| T'ai Chi classes learning a new sequence |
|
Local T'ai Chi classes are held every Monday in the village hall and new members are welcome to join.
Now is a good time to join because the class has completed learning the T'ai Chi 24 with Mike Parfitt (see Mike's website) and we are now starting on a new sequence, T'ai Chi Bang (The Immortal Flute).
Over thousands of years, T'ai Chi developed to help with posture and teach the body to move in a relaxed, natural manner. It is suitable for all ages and abilities.
If you want to join the classes or find out more information please contact

For those in the village who go to T'ai Chi in Monday, classes have finished for the summer and will resume on 17th September 2012
In the meanwhile Mike and Ben are pleased to announce that copies on Mike's demonstration and instruction DVD will be available from the shop for £10 (slightly more than we thought but great value nonetheless).

Zoe Simmonds is asking for help finding her cat which went missing while she was staying with friends in Lodge Hill. Zoe does not live in the village so definitely needs our help in finding the cat. She has put posters up and asks if we could all keep an eye out.
The cat is a small tabby with white paws.
Zoe is not on email but her phone is 07927 971936.

| Hunger Lunch at St Lawrence's School |
|
St Lawrence's Primary School's would love the whole village to join them for "Hunger Lunch" (a basic meal of bread, cheese and delicious homemade soup) to raise awareness of world hunger.
Alongside lunch will be displays, games, a raffle, stalls and a quiz, which the children have worked hard to put together. Come and share what they have learned about the people of Uganda, raise some money and have lots of fun!
Enter the raffle to win a lunch kindly donated by our local pub The Westbury Inn .
See St Lwarence's poster or go straight to the website for Send a Cow.

| St Lawrence Choir Winter Practice Time |
|
Now the clocks have changed and it apparently gets darker earlier we have decided to move choir practice forward half an hour to start at 6.00pm on Friday.
Should anyone reading this fancy joining us, perhaps with a view to learning some Christmas music, please do, we would give you a warm welcome.
